Cornwall RP Bubba Byrne Injured Thursday, September 24th , 2026 Cornwall reliever Bubba Byrne suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Capitols. According to club doctors Byrne has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Although Byrne has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. This season, Byrne has claimed 33 saves and registered a 4-5 record with a 3.36 ERA. He has 54 relief appearances spanning 59 innings and has struck out 61. |
