Cornwall's Hesley Injured, Out of Lineup Thursday, September 24th , 2026 When Justin Hesley was hurt against the Augusta Capitols, the Cornwall Royals were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 24-year-old reliever suffered a stretched elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Hesley would miss 8-9 months of the season. Hesley's record this season is 6-and-3 with no saves and a 3.62 ERA. He has given up 76 hits in 87 innings with 79 strikeouts. |
