W-AA Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, October 18th , 2023 Jonathan Harvey was dominant and cool under pressure this year, and his standout performance has earned the Sonoma Scorpions reliever recognition as the 2023 Western AA Reliever of the Year Award. "I was just doing my job, and my job is to get people out," said the 27-year-old out of Oxnard, California. The award winner made 71 relief appearances this year and had 21 saves. He fanned 89 batters in 110 innings, with 34 walks. He pitched to a record of 14 wins and 6 losses to go with his 2.54 ERA. He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 24. Colby Heim of the Augusta Capitols finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Dave Combs of the Hamilton Bulldogs finished third.
