Thursday, August 28th , 2025
In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of Cincinnati buzzing, Sonoma Scorpions right fielder Collin Mays blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 11-7, over the Cincinnati Bombardiers.
"Everything was clicking," Mays told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Mays shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Scorpions manager Keith Young said. "Collin played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Collin Mays singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Mike Pinion in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Lance Goecker in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Aiden Sealy in the 9th.
So far this year, Mays is batting .286 with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
