Running Rebels Victor Montoya to Miss Year Tuesday, September 5th , 2023 When Victor Montoya was hurt against the Mesa Razor Sharks, the Fresno Running Rebels were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 20-year-old reliever suffered a torn back muscle throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Montoya would miss 4 months of the season. For the season, his stats show Montoya has 3 saves in 40 relief appearances with a 4-7 record and 10.02 ERA. |
