W-AA Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 4th , 2023 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Skyler Fundis, the Augusta Capitols 20-year-old left fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Western AA Player of the Week honors. He ripped 8 hits in 16 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with 4 home runs and 4 RBIs. So far on the season, Fundis is hitting .248 with 24 home runs, 63 RBIs and 103 runs scored. He has 117 hits and played in 127 games. |
