Augusta Wins Top Spot in Western AA Coastal Division Saturday, September 2nd , 2023 Augusta Capitols fans have reason to celebrate today, as their franchise is the class of the Western AA Coastal Division. With their record standing at 79-57, the club officially wrapped up the division title today, for the 11th time. Manager Chris Clarke said everyone on their roster is looking forward to the postseason and trying to capture the club's 6th championship. "That's what you dream about your whole life," Clarke said. Starting Pitcher Bernie Rios added that it's a great feeling to win the division, but said ultimately, a World Series victory is what will mark success for the club. |
