Eskimo Brothers Starter Wins E-AA Pitching Award Friday, September 1st , 2023 This month the Eastern AA spotlight fell on pitcher Tom Balletta of the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers. What a August he had! A fine 5-0 won-lost record, 1.74 ERA, 6 starts, 41.1 innings pitched and 36 strikeouts -- good enough to get him the E-AA Pitcher of the Month. On the season, Balletta has compiled a 9-2 mark with a 3.02 ERA in 14 starts. In pitching 86.1 innings he has 71 strikeouts and 17 walks while limiting the opposition to a .261 batting average. |
