League Gives Scafidi and Volmar 4-Game Suspensions Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Yesterday at Chiefs Ballpark Jared Scafidi and Eric Volmar lost their tempers and now they will have a few days off to cool down. The league office has suspended Mescalero's Jared Scafidi and Libertyville's Eric Volmar for 4 games for fighting. The suspensions are scheduled to go into effect today. So far this season, Scafidi is batting .275 with 1 home run. This year, Volmar has registered no saves in 24 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 2-2 won-lost mark with a 5.35 ERA. In 37 innings he has fanned 22. |
