No Late-Season Magic Coming: Mescalero Out of Playoffs Friday, September 4th , 2026 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Mescalero might have envisioned. The Mescalero Chiefs were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in ABA Double A and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Chiefs manager Hunter Santiago. Mescalero hasn't yet made it to the postseason. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 16 seasons in the AA. |
