David Stretches Hit String to 20 Sunday, August 23rd , 2026 Mark David of the Riverside Rotters tagged 2 hits in today's 3-1 loss to the Libertyville Polecats at Rotters Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Mark David flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this season, David has hit .296 with 9 home runs, 57 RBIs and scored 88 times. |
