Season-Ending Injury for Brett Lamb Friday, August 9th , 2024 Augusta center fielder Brett Lamb suffered a season-ending injury running the bases in today's game against the Ragin Cajuns. According to club doctors Lamb has a ruptured medial collateral ligament. Although Lamb has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. In 39 games this year, Lamb has posted a .273 average and put up these numbers: 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
