W-AA's Best Player Named Monday, August 17th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Danny Gates of the St. Louis Cavalry. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .440, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Western AA. Last week Gates went 11-for-25, racked up 5 home runs and 11 RBIs and scored 10 runs. It was a heck of a week for the St. Louis second baseman. This year, Gates has 26 home runs and a .277 batting average. |
