Season Ends for Dan Gray of Augusta Saturday, August 8th , 2026 The season is finished for Dan Gray of the Augusta Capitols. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Capitols reliever suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Hialeah Firecats. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. This year, Gray has pitched 38.2 innings over 19 relief appearances, picking up 1 save and held opponents to a .242 average. Gray has a 1-0 record with a 4.19 ERA and 39 strikeouts. |
