Cunningham Heads E-AA Best Player List Sunday, October 25th , 2020 He may have less experience than most of his ABA Double A peers, but that didn't slow Jonathan Cunningham down at all in 2020. At the age of 22, the Rohnert Park third baseman has been named the winner of the Eastern AA Most Valuable Player Award. He had a .319 batting average and a .399 on-base percentage this year. In 128 games he piled up 157 hits, 20 doubles, no triples, 29 home runs, 93 RBIs and 88 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 24. Victor Lopez of the Rohnert Park Cougars finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Manuel Rosas of the Boise Dread Kings finished third.
