Season Over for Ernesto Correa in Boise Wednesday, July 10th , 2024 Ernesto Correa has to call it a season. The Boise Dread Kings starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Winchester Mountaineers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Correa was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 8 months. This season, Correa has worked 34.2 innings with 28 strikeouts en route to a 0-2 record and a 7.53 ERA. |
