Encinitas Reliever Out Monday, July 13th , 2026 Encinitas reliever Vinny Luna suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Dread Kings. According to club doctors Luna has a torn meniscus. Although Luna has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. To date this year, Luna has won 5 and lost 1 with a 4.17 ERA, 1 save and 43 strikeouts in 27 relief appearances. |
