Mountaineers Win League Championship Series Friday, September 23rd , 2022 The Winchester Mountaineers had all facets of their game going and have swept the Mobile Yard Dogs in the League Championship Series. Winchester now heads off to the World Series, after wrapping up the series with a 5-3 win. Ryan Burchett was named MVP, as he put up a .263 batting average, with a .263 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Winchester Mountaineers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Stockton Ragin Cajuns - London Tigers series. Stockton leads the series 2 games to 1.
