Winchester Advances to League Championship Series Friday, September 16th , 2022 The Winchester Mountaineers will continue their playoff march, after a 4-2 Division Series victory over the Libertyville Polecats. The series wrapped up at Mountaineers Park with a 8-1 win, propelling Winchester to the League Championship Series. Series MVP Zion Gilliam called it a "total team effort" by his club. The Winchester Mountaineers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Mesa Razor Sharks - Mobile Yard Dogs series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
