Borrego Joins 3-HR Club

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Millionaires-Bears game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Alcoa first baseman Alan Borrego thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Alcoa to a win, 12-6, over Traverse City.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Borrego said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Borrego, who is tied for 9th in the E-AA with a .667 slugging percentage, was 4-for-5 on the day with 5 RBI.
Alan Borrego hit a solo-shot off Pat Potter in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
Borrego is currently hitting at a .305 pace with 22 home runs and 62 RBIs. He has played in 60 games and scored 53 times.
