Elijah Lewis Hurt, Out for Year Saturday, June 22nd , 2024 Doctors in Libertyville said Elijah Lewis might not play anymore this year. The Polecats second baseman suffered a broken kneecap during a game against the Boise Dread Kings and will be out for at least 5 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. At present, Lewis is batting .336 and has collected 9 home runs, 30 RBIs, .367 OBP and scored 24 runs. |
