Monday, October 25th , 2021
The future looks extremely bright for Mike Costello. At the age of 22, many players are still trying to find their way in ABA Double A.
Costello has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Western AA Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .369 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.
The Hamilton Bulldogs star also put up a .416 on-base percentage this year, with 103 hits, 27 doubles, 1 triple, 17 home runs, 53 RBIs and 59 runs scored.
He ended up tied with Josh Fitzgerald with 266 total votes and 266 first place votes.
