Augusta's Alcorn Snags July Batting Title Tuesday, August 1st , 2023 Josh Alcorn may be much younger than other hitters in the Western AA, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Augusta third baseman hit .457 with 12 home runs, 34 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Thus far this season in 101 games, Alcorn is batting .339 with 24 home runs, 76 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 135 hits in 398 at-bats. |
