W-AA Player of the Week, Alcorn of Augusta Monday, July 31st , 2023 One of the league's most exciting young players, Josh Alcorn of the Augusta Capitols earned himself Western AA Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 22-year-old third baseman had a lofty .526 average (10-for-19), collecting 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This season, Alcorn has hit 24 home runs and posted a .339 batting average. |
