Cougars Win Division Series Sunday, September 15th , 2019 The Rohnert Park Cougars and Aurora Suns held nothing back in an entertaining Division Series that went the distance. In the end, it will be Rohnert Park advancing to the League Championship Series, after a 5-1 triumph in the final game at Ballpark of Greenup, to wrap up the series 4-3. The Cougars players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Suns. Noel Cusack was named series MVP for Rohnert Park. For the series, Cusack hit .320 with a .370 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Rohnert Park Cougars will play against the Winchester Mountaineers in the next round. Winchester won their series against the Libertyville Polecats 4 games to 0. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
