Vail Secures Top Spot in Western AA Central Division Wednesday, September 4th , 2019 Say what you want about the Vail Tigercats and their abilities on the baseball diamond. Nobody can question their ability to celebrate a division title. The music was loud and the adult beverages were flowing tonight as the Tigercats officially clinched the Western AA Central Division. "You concentrate so hard on winning the division, so it's nice to finally be here and be able to enjoy it," said reliever Mike Strasser, whose championship t-shirt was drenched. "It's probably going to be a long night." Vail clinched the division with a record currently sitting at 88-51. It is the 6th division championship in team history and will give the Tigercats the opportunity to go for their 1st ABA Double A championship. |
