W-AA's Best Player, Williams of London Monday, September 2nd , 2019 Western AA pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Matt Williams of the London Tigers out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 23-year-old first baseman boasted a .520 average with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Williams went 13-for-25 for the week. Williams is hitting .296 in 2019 with 53 RBIs and 16 home runs. |
