Firecats Eddie Cano to Miss Year Wednesday, July 12th , 2023 Eddie Cano has to call it a season. The Hialeah Firecats second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Hamilton Bulldogs and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Cano was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken bone in the elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 7 months. This year, Cano is hitting .233 with 3 home runs and 18 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .279 clip and scored 18 runs. |
