Capitols Sit Atop Western AA Coastal Division Thursday, September 9th , 2021 Their spot atop the Western AA Coastal Division may have been in jeopardy, but it is now confirmed - the Augusta Capitols are division champions. "It was a tough pennant race and I think it took a lot out of the guys emotionally," said closer Tim Kondas, after hugging the neck of a jubilant teammate. "I think now is a good time to relax and regroup for a little bit, until we have to start focusing again." The task at hand will now be for the franchise to capture its 6th World Series.
