No Late-Season Magic Coming: Cincinnati Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 9th , 2021 Looking at the bigger picture, Ryan Johnson of the Cincinnati Bombardiers said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 2021 season. Before this season, the Bombardiers had made the playoffs 5 times in a row. In the 22 years they have been a ABA Double A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 9 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Bombardiers have missed the playoffs 2 times. |
