Week's Best Player Honored by W-AA Monday, July 10th , 2023 Josh Alcorn demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Western AA Player of the Week Award. The Augusta third baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .458 average (11-for-24) with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year, Alcorn has collected a .315 batting average to date with 102 hits in 324 at-bats, 50 RBIs, 16 home runs and scored 48 times. He has played in 82 games. |
