Sergio Portillo Wins E-AA Trophy Monday, September 7th , 2020 One of the league's most exciting young players, Sergio Portillo of the Mobile Yard Dogs earned himself Eastern AA Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 22-year-old left fielder had a lofty .421 average (8-for-19), collecting 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Currently Portillo has 12 home runs and a .260 batting average. |
