Scorpions Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, September 8th , 2022 The playoff chase by the Sonoma Scorpions has run out of steam. The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. "We came up short," manager Justin Watts said. Before this season, the Scorpions had made the playoffs 4 times in a row. In the 23 years they have been a ABA Double A franchise, they have made the playoffs 9 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Scorpions have made the playoffs 5 times. Sonoma last won the World Series in 2010. |
