David Jordan Wallops 3 Homers for Polecats Monday, June 29th , 2026 Whatever David Jordan ate for breakfast before his game against the Corpus Christi Mermen, it gave him some impressive power. The Libertyville third baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Mermen Field. His home run barrage helped the Polecats defeat the Mermen, 8-6. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 3 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember. David Jordan hit a solo-shot off Justin Trunzo in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Justin Trunzo in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Josh Maughan in the 7th. To date this season, Jordan is hitting .237 with 12 home runs. |
