Chambers and Tackett Suspended 2 Games
Sunday, June 28th , 2026
Dan Chambers of the St. Louis Cavalry was not happy with Jesse Tackett, and his frustration showed when he went after the Miami player during yesterday's game at Ballpark of Miami. Both benches cleared as they rushed to the aid of their teammates. Order was soon restored as Chambers and Tackett were pulled away from each other. They were ejected from the game.
Both players were suspended 2 games by the league office as a result of their tussle.
"It's something that happens in baseball every once in a while," Chambers commented later. "We get frustrated with another player and sometimes things go too far. We'll both take our suspensions and then come back ready to play. I got no hard feelings."
This year, Chambers has hit at a .233 clip with 12 RBIs, 3 home runs and 10 runs scored.
Tackett has nailed down 1 save for the year. He has also totaled 31 strikeouts and 14 walks in 30.1 innings while registering a 1.19 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost record.
