Sanders Hits in 20 Straight Games Tuesday, June 11th , 2024 The Mesa Razor Sharks stopped the Libertyville Polecats, 10-4, and Brian Sanders collected a base hit yet again. The Mesa catcher finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Sanders told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Brian Sanders grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Luke Lodge in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. Thus far this year, Sanders is hitting .385 with 14 home runs, 61 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
