Week's Premier Performer Honored by E-AA Monday, June 10th , 2024 When it came to hitting the baseball, Matthew Alexander was in a class by himself in the Eastern AA this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding right fielder for Encinitas tagged opposing pitchers for a .560 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 14 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 homers, 6 runs scored and 14 RBIs. Currently Alexander has 9 home runs and a .376 batting average. |
