Western AA's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 17th , 2020 So far in his young career, Axel Hirneisen has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Western AA in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Vermont Milkmen right fielder hit at a torrid .417 clip as he collected 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Hirneisen is hitting at a .218 pace with 14 home runs, 45 RBIs and has scored 44 times. |
