Riverside's Anderson Snaps Up May Batting Award Saturday, June 1st , 2024 When Matt Anderson stepped up to the plate in May he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Eastern AA Batter of the Month award. The young Riverside first baseman posted a .471 batting average with 12 home runs, 28 RBIs and scored 31 runs. Anderson also worked pitchers for 10 walks to post a .535 on-base percentage. So far this season, Anderson has gotten 64 hits in 170 at-bats for a .376 batting average with 19 home runs. His stats include 45 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has played in 43 games. |
