Year Over for Mountaineers Parrent Wednesday, May 29th , 2024 The season is finished for Lance Parrent of the Winchester Mountaineers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Mountaineers first baseman suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Fresno Running Rebels. Team doctors said it would take at least 9 months to heal. For the year, Parrent is hitting .440 with 3 home runs. His stats include 15 runs batted in and 16 runs scored. |
