Boll Weevils Garcia W-AA Hitter of the Week Monday, May 27th , 2024 When it came to hitting the baseball, Dave Garcia was in a class by himself in the Western AA this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Miami tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 homers, 6 runs scored and 4 RBIs. This season in 32 games, Garcia has hit at a .400 clip with 34 hits, 9 home runs, 19 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
