Doyle Belts 3 HR for Dread Kings Thursday, May 16th , 2024 Ryan Doyle was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 15-3 Boise Dread Kings triumph at Ballpark of Boise. The 23-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Dread Kings past the Libertyville Polecats. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Doyle told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The catcher went 3-for-5, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Ryan Doyle hit a three-run home run off Craig Treinen in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Saul Guevara in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th. This year, Doyle is batting .381 with 5 home runs. |
