In the Boise's 25-0 win over Libertyville, shortstop Bill Highsmith was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Boise. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Highsmith said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Bill Highsmith hit an RBI double in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
