Taylor Pounds 3 HR Against Dread Kings Friday, July 17th , 2020 Rohnert Park Cougars right fielder Steve Taylor left the Boise pitching staff in ruins at Ballpark of Greenup today, beating the Dread Kings 10-4 with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Taylor told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the Rohnert Park right fielder had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 7 and scored 4 runs. Steve Taylor singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jack Hall in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jack Hall in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off William Deel in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This year Taylor is hitting .304 with 16 home runs. |
