Parsons Will Sit Out 2 Games, Suspended by League Tuesday, July 26th , 2022 Following an intense confrontation with the home plate umpire in which he was ejected, Firecats first baseman Casey Parsons was suspended 2 games by the league. Parsons had to be physically restrained by his manager and appeared to make a few threats toward the umpire. He was upset by a called third strike in a game with Stockton at Ballpark of Stockton. Parsons could not be reached for comment on the suspension. So far this season, Parsons is batting .230 with 15 home runs. |
