Traverse City lost to the Aurora Suns, 13-11, at Suns Field, but Pat Bell kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 2 hits. The Bears third baseman has now delivered hits in 20 straight games.

"Pat has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Traverse City manager Zach Hildebrant told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had."
Pat Bell flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Kevin McGaha in the 7th.

So far this season, Bell has recorded a .404 batting average with 55 hits, 15 home runs, 41 RBIs, 32 runs scored and a .478 OBP.
