Cremo Raps 3 Homers Against Bombardiers
Sunday, May 31st , 2026
The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Cincinnati Bombardiers.
Augusta third baseman Kevin Cremo tripled up on the home runs to propel the Capitols to a win, 14-1, at Ballpark of Cincinnati.
"We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Cincinnati manager Carlos Almendarez said. "Cremo hit the heck out of the ball."
In addition to the homers, Cremo collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs.
"Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings."
Kevin Cremo singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
Currently Cremo has 11 home runs and a .301 batting average.
