Rohnert Park Snaps Moore Streak at 20 Thursday, May 9th , 2024 The Rohnert Park Cougars did something to David Moore no team had done for the last 20 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Rotters, who came away with the 12-5 victory at Ballpark of Greenup. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 23-year-old right fielder said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted." Moore is batting .313 with 13 home runs and 37 RBIs this season. |
