Washington's Adams Suspended 4 Games Tuesday, July 12th , 2022 Following an intense confrontation with the home plate umpire in which he was ejected, Wildthings third baseman Mitch Adams was suspended 4 games by the league. Adams had to be physically restrained by his manager and appeared to make a few threats toward the umpire. He was upset by a called third strike in a game with Jackson at Creeps Ballpark. Adams could not be reached for comment on the suspension. This season, Adams is batting .221 with 14 home runs. His totals include 41 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
