Bears Lose Gomez for Season Tuesday, July 12th , 2022 The season is apparently over for Miguel Gomez. The Traverse City Bears medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 5-6 months with radial nerve compression. Gomez was hurt in the game against Rohnert Park while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year, Gomez has made 6 relief appearances with no saves. In 11.1 innings, he has permitted 13 hits, fanned 10 hitters and recorded no wins and no losses with a 7.15 ERA. |
